Parent Band Boosters are organizations that are dedicated to providing support and assistance to school music programs. Their primary purpose is to help their students, parents, and band directors with their musical endeavors. Whether it’s fundraising efforts, providing uniforms, or organizing events, parent band boosters are essential to the success of any music program. 

Band booster clubs are booster clubs that are created in schools to serve the purpose of collecting the necessary funds that will keep the band program running. Bands and not all the same and come in all shapes and sizes.  Some bands hjave marching bands, others have PEP bands, concert bands or flag corps bands so needs of each band being supported will most certainly vary. A music booster club will need to be able to raise money to supply general necessities to the program.  The essentials are  band uniforms, signage and banners, funds for trip, festival or performance entrance fees, and a lot much more.

School booster clubs support the students who invest their time and energy in the school’s music program. Students feel as if they have a support system that is genuinely committed to the success of their band programs if are able to find booster clubs that support their activities . Of course, parents also need to be able to find booster clubs aimed towards their children’s extracurricular activities. Integrating both the parents and the students  into the activities of the music booster club will help band directors run a successful program!
